No I've not had a birthday recently, must have been misunderstood somewhere in translation.Another very hot day today, almost as hot as yesterday but tomorrow will be cooler. Thankfully there are no fires close to our town now either.

Hi Ash,It's a dianthus. About a week ago we planted out several large Dianthus seedlings (a mix of pink/red and white varieties) along our path. They are quite hardy and last a few years - hopefully.Yes, we had a much cooler day today (only 25C) with some drizzly rain. A welcome change.Karen
